This Wednesday, February 22nd was the 48 Hour Film Festival Screening Ceremony where we celebrated the successes of student filmmakers and learned about the film opportunities with the Bryn Mawr Filmmaker’s Association and the greater Tri-Co area!
Earlier this month (February 3-5), six students from Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges participated in the first annual “48 Hour Film Festival” hosted by the Bryn Mawr College Filmmaker’s Association. This competition gave groups of 2-4 students a prompt (Stranded on the moon) and object (a clock or water) to utilize in the filmmaking process, producing a short film within a 48-hour time frame. Another catch – all films were to be shot exclusively on smartphone!
