“To My Motherland” Nominated for Best Experimental (University) Film at Rough Cut Film Festival

My film To My Motherland has been accepted into the Rough Cut Film Festival! Out of over 300 films that were submitted, roughly 80 made the cut! On June 5th, Rough Cut Media had their awards ceremony. While I wasn’t able to make the ceremony (I was at NextDoc) my best friend Kellie Dinh went for me!
Not only was my film an official selection, it was also nominated for the best experimental (university) film and was featured on the university shortlist! I am so honored to have been nominated and thankful that Kellie was able to be there for me!
As an official selection for Rough Cut, my film will be featured on a 2017RCFF Playlist at Rough Cut Media’s YouTube and will air on their brand new cable show #RoughCutPresents (Comcast 52, FiOS 20- dates and times TBD)
Thanks again for being there for me Kellie!
