Attending the Flaherty Film Seminar as a HCAH Fellow

Thank you Haverford College for awarding me the HCAH Flaherty Seminar Student Fellowship! The fellowship, awarded through the Haverford College Hurford Center, is a highly selective program that offers two fellows the opportunity to attend the Robert Flaherty Film Seminar at Colgate University.

Named after filmmaker Robert Flaherty (Nanook of the North, Man of Aran, Louisiana Story), considered by many to be the father of documentary film, the week-long seminar brings together over 160 filmmakers, artists, curators, scholars, students, and film enthusiasts to celebrate the power of the moving image.
