One day, I was just scrolling through Twitter when I stumbled upon a post advertising NextDoc, a 5-day documentary film fellowship with masterclasses taught by award-winning filmmakers.

As a recent college graduate, it’s difficult to determine how to take your first steps as a documentary filmmaker. NextDoc is a wonderful opportunity for emerging filmmakers to get an understanding of the documentary field. Meeting fellow young filmmakers and learning from established makers was incredibly inspiring and eye opening!
