Thanks to the generous support of Scribe Video Center, I have been awarded a full-tuition scholarship to the inaugural class of the Film Scholar Fellowship! Special support for this program is provided by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The program awards up to three full-tuition scholarships to the new comprehensive series of documentary production workshops. This program develops the skills to plan, raise funds, produce and complete new documentary media works.
As part of the fellowship, I am currently in production for a short documentary on the undocumented immigrant community in Philadelphia working with the Latinx immigrant non-profit Juntos.
