Staff from PhillyCAM (Léa van der Tak) and Scribe Video Center (me) will teach the DIY Promotion Workshop on Thursday, March 5 at 6:30 PM. This workshop intends to empower members with an established social media presence to organize neighborhood-based and community based events to promote their shows/programs. Topics covered include event prep, local venues, design tools, flyer distribution, social media marketing, community outreach, and follow-up. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will leave with a toolkit of resources to support their DIY Promotion efforts.
