I’m so excited to bring my knowledge of the field and international connections to the IDA Documentary Awards. Not to mention the fact that I can use this larger platform to advocate for Latinx and LGBTQIA+ filmmakers! Vamos!✨
Since 1984, the International Documentary Association (IDA) has recognized the best nonfiction work from a diverse range of emerging and established documentarians each year.
The 37th edition is now open from any nonfiction shorts, features, series and podcasts released or to be completed between October 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021.
Submit by Monday, July 12, 2021 to be part of the world’s most prestigious awards dedicated solely to the documentary genre.
